fall featured project
This mid-century home located in Shoreline presented both challenges and opportunities. The original concrete patios and paths were removed as well as some of the stone facade. The new hardscape was designed carefully to 'bridge' the vintage of the home with it's renovated garden by using a combination of concrete and natural stone. Fun features such as a fountain and a built-in bench were discovered via the design process as key elements to add ambiance and function. Though my favorite features of this garden are the playful seasonal combinations of plantings.
